The Reliance Story

RIL was founded by Dhirubhai Ambani in 1966 as a textile company. Over the next three decades, the company diversified into petrochemicals, refining, and oil and gas exploration and production. In 2002, Reliance became the first private sector company in India to be listed on the Fortune 500 list. In 2016, RIL's revenues reached US$60.5 billion. Today, RIL is the second most valuable company in India with a market capitalization of over $100 billion.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process at Reliance is competitive and selective. Candidates who have obtained at least 60% average across all eight semesters are suitable for recruitment by Reliance. The selection procedure of Reliance Company consists of 3 processes. They are:

  1. Written test (Aptitude): The number of questions in this test is 75. The questions cover several subject areas such as equations, simple logic, comparisons, and analogies. This round's cut-off scores are 60%.
  2. Technical written test: This time, there are 50 questions and a 25-minute time limit. To pass this round, you must be strong in your area of expertise. The cut-off mark for this stage is set at 50%.
  3. Technical and HR interview

After successfully completing the written exam, the final stage is a technical and human resources interview. It will take one hour and is based on the National Merit Test. In this round, some technical questions may be asked, as well as questions related to the company, projects, hobbies, and so forth during the HR interviews. During interviews, candidates are required to present genuine mark sheets/certificates for verification.
